On the instructions given by Senior Superintendent of Police Dehradun, to effectively curb road accidents and take effective action against drivers violating traffic rules, Doon Police is continuously running intensive checking campaigns in all police station areas and ensuring effective action.*
Continuously expanding the scope of action against drivers violating traffic rules, police has taken 50% more challan action in the first 8 months of this year as compared to last year. Along with this, to make the youth/general public aware about road safety, various social media platforms/seminars are being organized continuously to create awareness about following traffic rules.
