Doon Police brought down the intoxication of those who were displaying fake pistols
A video is going viral in which some youths were showing off their dominance by displaying illegal weapons in a taxi number vehicle which had a government department’s strip on it.
Taking suo motu cognizance of the viral video, Senior Superintendent of Police Dehradun constituted a police team and gave necessary instructions for the immediate arrest of the accused.
In compliance with which, the police team took action in a short time and arrested the three accused involved in the incident along with the vehicle used in the incident near ISBT Dehradun under *Section 170 BNSS*. During investigation, the pistol being displayed by the accused in the video turned out to be a toy gun. Necessary legal action is being taken against the accused.
On collecting information regarding the vehicle, it was found that the said private vehicle is contracted with the Irrigation Department, regarding which a report is also being sent to the concerned department.
