Minister Subodh Uniyal participated in the state-level Skill Award distribution ceremony organized by the Social Welfare Department and the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities today and honored employees and athletes with disabilities.
Addressing the event, Minister Subodh Uniyal said, “Our colleagues, through their hard work, commitment, and indomitable spirit, prove that disability never limits a person’s abilities. With strong determination, unwavering courage, and unwavering faith in their goals, a person can overcome any challenge and establish their own identity in society.”
Subodh Uniyal praised this excellent event organized by the Social Welfare Department and the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities. He said that the Institute’s continuous efforts to promote inclusion, compassion, and equal opportunities in society are highly commendable, and that such programs strengthen the morale of persons with disabilities.
MLA Savita Harbans Kapoor, along with several officials and dignitaries, were present at the event.
