Dehradun: The Education Minister has expressed displeasure over the delay in the manuals of the State Council of Educational Research and Training and District Education and Training Institute. Actually, efforts are going on to prepare the manuals for this for a long time. But even after a long time, work has not been done on it. Now the Education Minister has reprimanded the officials and instructed to complete the work on it soon.
Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat in the state has expressed strong displeasure and asked to speed up the preparation of the State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) manuals. For this, Education Secretary Ravinath Raman has been instructed to immediately coordinate with the Personnel Department and remove the problems related to the manuals. Efforts are being made to prepare the manuals of the State Council of Educational Research and Training and District Education and Training Institutes. But it is not being expedited at the department level.
The manuals have not been prepared in the state for the last 4 years. The Education Minister also expressed surprise over the non-preparation of the manuals for so long. During this, instructions were also given to prepare the manual of State Council of Education Research and Training and DIET within 1 month and present it in the cabinet.
The posts of academic and para academic are lying vacant in the State Council of Educational Research and Training and District Education and Training Institute for a long time. Due to which teaching and training work is also getting affected and the students of the state are also bearing the brunt of it. Instructions have also been issued to send the study to the State Public Service Commission for early recruitment to the 221 vacant posts of lecturer in 13 DIETs of the state.
The special thing is that 69 posts of senior lecturer and 53 posts of lecturer are vacant in DIET. Obviously, this situation is also creating problems for academic work. In such a situation, the absence of any manual for this is increasing the problem even more. At present, giving a month’s ultimatum to the officials, they have been asked to prepare the manual and start the recruitment process for the vacant posts.
