Dense fog in and around Dehradun Airport caused inconvenience to people today. Flights at Dehradun Airport were also affected by the fog.
An IndiGo flight from Ahmedabad, scheduled to arrive at 7:55 AM, was unable to land at the airport. It circled in the skies above Haridwar, near the airport, until around 10:30 AM.
Another IndiGo flight from Bhubaneswar, after circling in the air for some time, was diverted to Jaipur. The entire region is enveloped in thick fog, and the fog is falling as light rain. The fog has also intensified the cold wave in the area.
