Dehradun:-The accident took place in Dehradun on Sunday morning. The car hit the cement trailer from behind near Asharodi. Four people from Haryana were killed in the accident. One person was seriously injured.
According to information, the incident took place around 3.30 pm. Vehicle number (HR 42 E 2701) Maruti Ritz (white colour) was coming to Dehradun from Saharanpur. During this time, the car entered the cement-filled trailer number (HR63F 5353) near the checkpoint.
Four people in the car were seriously injured in the accident. The fire brigade reached the spot as soon as they got the information and took them out of the car and sent them to the hospital. Four people were declared dead by doctors.
The deceased have been identified as Ankush son Ajit resident of Purkhas Dhiran, district Sonepat, Paras son of Jayakaran resident of Purkhas Dhiran, district Sonepat, Ankit son Rajesh resident of Merida tehsil Julana, district Jind and Naveen son Naresh resident of Khedi, tehsil Rohtak, Haryana. Vinay’s son Vijay, a resident of Purkhas Dhiran district Sonepat, Haryana, was seriously injured.
The police took possession of the vehicle and questioned its driver Aftab son Zulfikar, a resident of Sheikhpura Kadim police station, Dehat district Saharanpur. The family has been informed.
