A cow died two days after being bitten by a dog in Pawali village of Bangan area of Uttarkashi, adjacent to Tyuni area. The dog that bit the cow is missing since the incident. 22 people had consumed the cow’s milk. The worried villagers reached the Primary Health Centre, Tyuni. Here the villagers were administered anti-rabies vaccine (ARV). The health of all the villagers is said to be normal at present.
On Wednesday, 22 villagers from Pawali village of Bangan area reached the Primary Health Centre, Tyuni. The villagers told the doctor that three days ago a stray dog had bitten a milch cow. The cow suddenly died two days after the dog bite. Foam was coming out of the cow’s mouth. Its body had become stiff.
