The All India Congress Committee (AICC) is expected to release the list of district presidents and metropolitan presidents for Uttarakhand’s 27 organizational districts tomorrow. The party’s national leadership has called a meeting of state leaders in Delhi on October 15th to discuss the names of district and metropolitan presidents based on the observers’ reports. Through the Organization Creation Program, the Congress, for the first time, gathered feedback from workers, party leaders, and various sections of society for the appointment of district presidents and metropolitan presidents. Observers appointed by the AICC in each organizational district have submitted their reports to National General Secretary KC Venugopal. A meeting will now be held with state leaders on October 15th to discuss the names of district presidents and metropolitan presidents. The party may then announce the names. State President Karan Mahara stated that a meeting will be held with senior party leaders in Delhi on October 15th, where the final discussions will be held on the names of district presidents and metropolitan presidents. The party’s national leadership may also appoint district and metropolitan presidents before Diwali.
