Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met with citizens, tourists, and schoolchildren during his morning walk in Nainital on Thursday. He also inspected the gate of the Naina Devi Temple being constructed in Pant Park with officials. He also had tea and chatted with the people.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who arrived in Nainital on Wednesday, set out for his morning walk at 7 a.m. on Thursday. He walked from the ATI to Pant Park. During this walk, he inquired about the well-being of pedestrians and spoke with the police officers on duty to understand their problems. After reaching Pant Park, he inspected the work on the gate of the newly constructed Naina Devi Temple and directed its completion as soon as possible. He inspected the beautification work underway in the Naina Devi Temple complex under the Manaskhand Mission. He stated that an amount of โน11 crore has been approved to give the temple a more grand and attractive look, and several important works are progressing rapidly.
He also inquired from officials about the mission’s other development works, including the improvement of the DSA grounds, the Ballia drain, and the landslide protection works on the Thandi road. He gave strict instructions to the concerned departments to expedite all these works. Afterward, he spoke to the people present there and made tea at a stall. He spoke with local residents while drinking tea. Speaking to reporters, he said that the cold is increasing rapidly, and officials have been instructed to improve the arrangements at all night shelters.
