Upon reaching the Kumbh Mela Control Building (CCR), the Chief Minister held a review meeting regarding preparations for the Kumbh Mela 2027. He also laid the foundation stone for 34 major works approved by the state government. These permanent works, costing ₹234.55 crore, are intended to ensure the successful, safe, and well-organized conduct of the Kumbh Mela, as well as to strengthen the long-term development of Haridwar city.
Foundation Laid:
1. Seven Ghat Construction and Irrigation Infrastructure projects costing ₹70.54 crore
2. Twelve Road and Transportation Infrastructure projects costing ₹127.23 crore
3. Nine Drinking Water and Water Supply Infrastructure projects costing ₹18.11 crore
4. Six Pilgrim Amenities and Support Infrastructure projects costing ₹18.67 crore
