Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government is providing free training to young people for the Agneepath recruitment scheme to join the armed forces. He instructed officials to ensure the quality of the training facilities.
On Friday, CM Dhami inspected the Agneepath recruitment training center operating at the Provincial Armed Constabulary Directorate in Raipur. During his visit, he reviewed the training arrangements. The Chief Minister interacted directly with the young people preparing for the Agneepath recruitment, gathering information about their training experiences, daily routines, and challenges. He also asked them about the facilities they felt they needed during the training.
During the inspection, the Chief Minister observed the physical training, running exercises, sports activities, and other basic facilities available at the training center. He instructed the officials to ensure that all facilities provided to the youth meet high-quality standards. Encouraging the young people, the CM himself participated in the sports activities organized at the training center and interacted with them, conveying the message of moving forward with discipline, hard work, and a positive attitude.
The Chief Minister instructed the officials to update the training programs regularly. He also directed them to further strengthen the youth physically and mentally with the help of expert trainers.
He said that the Agneepath scheme is a golden opportunity for the youth of the country. The government’s endeavor is that the youth of Uttarakhand become self-reliant while serving the nation through this scheme. Providing all possible facilities and guidance to the youth is our priority. Special Principal Secretary Amit Sinha, Additional Secretary Dr. Ashish Chauhan, and other officials were present on this occasion.
