This morning, MDDA Vice Chairman Banshidhar Tiwari visited the City Forest Park. He inspected the various facilities provided by the MDDA and received feedback from officials on the ongoing work. During the visit, he also spoke extensively with over 1,000 school children, students, their families, and tourists from various states. In addition to gathering feedback on the park, they also discussed the facilities provided by the MDDA. Everyone unanimously praised the facilities developed by the MDDA, the cleanliness, security, and the natural environment of the park.

Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari said that the City Forest Park on Sahastradhara Road, developed on an area of approximately 12.45 hectares, is becoming Dehradun’s new identity. It is Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s dream project, designed with modern green development, environmental protection, and urban health in mind. He said that the park is a unique blend of nature, yoga, Ayurveda, fitness, children’s play, tourism, and a peaceful environment. Upon arriving, the noise of the city is left behind and one experiences a natural forest, which is essential for a rapidly developing city like Dehradun.
Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari said that since the inauguration of the City Forest Park, a large number of people have been visiting it every day. Local families, as well as tourists from various districts across the state, are visiting to experience the natural beauty and modern amenities. The park has become a favorite among children. Every day, parents, along with a large number of school children and students from the district and other cities, arrive for educational and environmental tours. Everyone is thrilled to discover the park’s unique educational environment. Children are enjoying walking along the natural trails, playing in the treehouses, and learning outdoors.

The park was incredibly crowded today. Students from schools wandered the natural trails, sat in the bamboo gazebos, and played in the treehouses and the children’s maze area (drum).
