As crowds increase in Auli for Christmas and New Year celebrations, tourist vehicles will be parked at the Ravigram grounds. From there, tourists will be transported to Auli by local vehicles. This decision was made at a meeting considering the increasing number of tourists in Auli. Taxi and hotel operators have been asked to display rate lists.
On Friday, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Chandrashekhar Vashisht held a meeting with local residents regarding winter tourism in Auli. The focus was primarily on traffic management due to the increase in tourism activities in Auli. The SDM stated that if the number of tourists increases, there could be traffic congestion on the Auli road, and parking facilities in Auli are limited.
Therefore, if crowds increase, all tourist vehicles will be parked at the Ravigram sports ground. Tourists will then travel to Auli using local transportation. He emphasized that special attention will be paid to ensuring that tourists from outside the area do not face any inconvenience.
Local taxi and hotel operators were instructed to display rate lists and charge tourists the prescribed rates. The SDM said that all departments have been directed to ensure that tourists in Auli do not face any inconvenience, and that necessary arrangements for electricity, water, roads, and other facilities are in place
