Dehradun:-A tragic road accident occurred near the Dat Kali Temple in Dehradun, where two cars collided head-on with tremendous force. The impact of the collision was so intense that both vehicles were completely mangled, with debris scattered across the road. Eyewitnesses reported a loud crash, followed by scenes of chaos and panic.
Unfortunately, one person lost their life on the spot due to the severity of the injuries sustained. Two other individuals were seriously injured in the accident. Local residents quickly came to their aid and, without delay, transported the injured victims to Graphic Era Hospital. Medical teams at the hospital are currently providing intensive care to the injured, whose conditions remain critical but stable.
Upon receiving information about the incident, police teams promptly arrived at the scene. They cleared the damaged vehicles from the road to restore traffic flow, which had been temporarily disrupted due to the wreckage. Initial investigations have begun, and authorities are working to determine the exact cause of the collision.
This tragic incident once again highlights the urgent need for safer driving practices and stricter traffic enforcement on hilly and high-speed roads in the region. The police have assured that a thorough probe will be conducted, and necessary action will be taken based on the findings.
