Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi today visited Bhitarli village in the Mussoorie Assembly constituency and conducted a field inspection of the road damaged by heavy rains. The Minister directed the PMGSY officials present on the spot to deploy as many teams as possible to quickly clear the blocked road and proceed with the reconstruction work on a war footing. He gave clear instructions to the officials to complete the repair and reconstruction of the damaged road in a timely manner. During this visit, he also inspected the disaster-affected Qimadi area.
He directed the officials to expedite the work, considering the difficulties faced by the local people. He stated that the state government is giving top priority to the reconstruction and restoration of basic amenities in the disaster-affected areas. Minister Ganesh Joshi also directed the officials to regularly monitor the progress of the work so that the affected people can receive immediate relief.
