Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi held a meeting with officials from the Irrigation Department, Public Works Department, Water Resources Department, Electricity Department, and the District Administration at his camp office today to conduct a detailed review of the damage caused by heavy rains in the Mussoorie Assembly constituency.
In the meeting, Minister Joshi directed all concerned departments to prioritize the repair and reconstruction of infrastructure damaged by heavy rains. He urged that concrete action be taken to immediately repair roads, bridges, concrete patches, water supply, and electricity systems so that the public does not face any inconvenience.
Minister Joshi directed officials to coordinate with each other and prepare a prompt estimate for the affected areas and submit it to the government. He also directed that departmental officials should regularly inspect the area and ensure prompt resolution to ensure that the disaster-affected people do not face any inconvenience.
The Cabinet Minister urged officials to quickly prepare their action plans and implement them without delay. He made it clear that any negligence in restoring public facilities will not be tolerated.
