Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi today attended the “Hamro Dashain Cultural Festival-2025,” organized to commemorate Dussehra at the Manekshaw Auditorium of the Gorkhaly Sudhar Sabha, as the chief guest.
On this occasion, the Cabinet Minister extended his greetings to everyone for Dussehra and Diwali in advance, stating that the Gorkhaly Sudhar Sabha is continuously working for the welfare and upliftment of society. He added that the Gorkha community’s contribution to the Indian Army has been unparalleled. Quoting Field Marshal General Manekshaw, he said, “If someone says they are not afraid of death, they are either lying or they are Gorkhas.”
Minister Joshi said that any community is identified by its cultural heritage, and the Gorkha Reform Sabha is working to keep this tradition alive. He expressed gratitude for the love and respect shown by the community. During the program, the Cabinet Minister also honored the participants who took part in the cultural presentations.
