Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi today participated in the Tiranga Yatra rally under the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan. This Tiranga Yatra started from Cheedbagh in Dehradun and concluded at Salawala Chowk.
Despite heavy rains, hundreds of women, ex-servicemen, youth, party officials and local citizens participated in the Tiranga Yatra with slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi said that on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Tiranga Yatra and Ghar-Ghar Tiranga program is being organized for the last three years. He said that “This yatra is a tribute to our brave martyrs, who sacrificed their lives to protect the country’s honour and pride. He further said that the importance of the tricolour is not limited to the country’s borders, but the whole world has seen its identity and strength abroad as well. Referring to the Ukraine crisis, he said that when Indians were stranded there in the hour of crisis, Prime Minister Modi had given a message that whoever has the Indian tricolour in his hand will be evacuated safely. He said that this view was adopted not only by people of India, but also by people of many countries including Nepal, Bhutan and came out safely. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi also appealed to everyone to hoist the tricolour in their homes and establishments under the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan. On this occasion, hundreds of people including BJYM National Vice President Neha Joshi, Mandal President Pradeep Rawat, Surendra Rana, Niranjan Dobhal, Ashish Thapa, Surendra Rana, Councilor Bhupendra Kathet, Bhavana Chaudhary, Nandani Sharma, Yogesh Ghaghat, Mohan Bahuguna were present.
