In view of the upcoming three-tier Panchayat elections, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi today participated as the chief guest in the public meeting program organized in support of BJP candidate Engineer Jitendra Gautam for the post of District Panchayat member at 16 Pratappur in Jawahar Nagar, Kichha Assembly constituency.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi appealed to the people of the area and said that BJP is the only party that works on the basic mantra of Antyodaya and is committed to providing benefits of schemes to the person standing in the last row. He said that BJP candidate Jitendra Gautam is a qualified, educated public service-minded youth. Minister Joshi said that the role of Panchayat representatives in Uttarakhand is very important and if the public representatives are strong at the grassroots level, the all-round development of the state will be ensured. He appealed to the regional people to vote unitedly in favor of the BJP. During this, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi also got more than a dozen people including former District Panchayat member candidate Harendra Arya, resident of Pratappur, enrolled as BJP members. He said that BJP will create another new record in this Panchayat election.
On this occasion, former MLA Rajesh Shukla, Pratappur district Panchayat member candidate Jitendra Gautam, divisional president Pinky Dimri, Harendra Arya, district minister Digvijay Khati, Ashish, Tikam Singh, Geeta Kandpal and many others were present.
