Six proposals were approved under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The Fragrance Revolution Policy was approved. The first phase of the policy will promote aromatic cultivation on 22,750 hectares of land through 91,000 beneficiaries.
Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari briefed the cabinet and informed them that aromatic plants will now be subsidized. Those planting up to one hectare will receive an 80% subsidy, and those growing more than that will receive a 50% subsidy.
Secondly, the restructuring of the Uttarakhand prison structure was approved. Several new positions were added. 27 positions will be permanent, while the remaining positions will be outsourced.
Thirdly, the state government will provide an additional 27 crore rupees for the construction of 1,872 EWS buildings. PM Awas Bhawan is being constructed in Rudrapur.
Fourth, eight new positions were approved for broadcasting through Doordarshan, which falls under the Education Department. SCERT broadcasts through the TV channel. This is beneficial for students who cannot attend classes for some reason.

Under the Uttarakhand State Elementary Education Service Rules, students who have completed D.El.Ed. through distance education between September 17 and March 2019 will also be eligible for outsourcing positions in special education. Furthermore, the state government will file a review petition in the Supreme Court challenging the Supreme Court’s decision to make the TET mandatory.
