Ramesh Dumka (65), owner of Dumka Traders, a prominent businessman in the Halduchaud area of Lalkuan, and his wife, Kamla Dumka (50), committed suicide by hanging themselves in their home late on Tuesday night. Their bodies were found hanging from ceiling fans in separate rooms on the first floor. Other family members discovered them on Wednesday morning. The family informed the police. Police arrived at the scene, retrieved the bodies, and began an investigation.
According to information received, Ramesh Dumka had been suffering from financial difficulties and debt for a long time. It is believed that this mental stress led the couple to take this extreme step. Police have not yet found any suicide note
