Here in Kanar village, a lot of struggle had to be done to take the sick woman to the hospital. The SDRF team made the woman cross the river with the help of a rope and then she was taken to the hospital.
Contact of Kanar village broken due to bridge washing: Let us tell you that due to continuous rain for the last two days, the contact of Kanar village of Dharchula has been broken with the tehsil headquarters. Where the bridge connecting Kanar to Baram Jauljibi has been washed away. Due to which crossing the river remains difficult for the villagers. It was a challenge to take the sick woman to the hospital: Meanwhile, the Jauljibi Kotwali police received information that Kali Devi, wife of Diwan Singh (age 61 years) of Kanar village has been ill for a long time, it is necessary to take her to the hospital for treatment. As soon as this information was received, on the instructions of Pithoragarh Superintendent of Police Rekha Yadav, the police and SDRF team were sent for immediate help.
The sick woman was made to cross the river with the help of a rope: The SDRF team, led by Additional Sub-Inspector Satendra Pal Singh, reached the spot after walking about 7 km. After which the team made arrangements for river crossing with a rope about 50 meters long from Kanar towards Baram. Then the sick woman Kali Devi was safely brought to Baram by crossing the river with the help of a stretcher and ropes. From where the family took the woman to Pithoragarh hospital.
Roads closed in Pithoragarh: At the same time, the family and villagers of the sick woman expressed their gratitude to the police and SDRF team. It is worth noting that due to continuous rain for the last two days, more than a dozen roads are closed in Pithoragarh district. Due to which people in rural areas are facing problems.
More than two dozen houses in danger: At the same time, life has been affected due to continuous rain. Not only this, if the administration is to be believed, more than two dozen houses in the district are in danger. Due to rain, many rivers and streams are flowing in spate. Along with this, agriculture has also been affected.
