Recently, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan held a meeting with the officials of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and DGCA in Delhi, in which he urged to lift the ban on heli services and cooperate in the operation.
UCADA CEO Ashish Chauhan said that after lifting the ban of DGCA, now Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UKADA) has allowed online booking of tickets for Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib heli service. IRCTC has released the date of ticket booking on its website https://heliyatra.irctc.co.in/. The portal will open on September 10 at 12 noon.
