Dehradun: The process of deporting five Bangladeshis caught by a joint team of district police and STF from Patel Nagar area has been started. These include four women and one man. STF and police also interrogated them on Wednesday.
It was found that they had also come here to work as labourers. Those who brought them here are also being searched for. Let us tell you that four days ago, five Bangladeshi citizens were arrested from Clement Town police station area. All of them were living here with an Indian woman.
A case was registered against them under the Foreigners Act and other sections and all were sent to judicial custody on the orders of the court. At the same time, after Operation Sindoor, the suspects are being continuously searched and arrested.
The contractor himself brought them to Dehradun
Meanwhile, on Tuesday night also, STF and Dehradun police together raided a colony in Patel Nagar area. Four suspicious women and one man were caught from here. During interrogation, none of them could give any reasonable answer. When investigated, it was found that all of them were from Bangladesh. They were brought to the police station and questioned.
It is being told that some contractor from Delhi or other places brought them to Dehradun. SSP Ajay Singh said that information about their sources is being gathered. Also, preparations are being made to expel these five from the country as per the rules of the Government of India.
