The Badrinath National Highway is blocked since 8 am at Bhanerpani near Peepal Koti. A huge amount of debris and boulders have fallen on the highway from the landslide area, due to which there is a long line of vehicles on both sides of the highway.
Around 500 pilgrims going on the pilgrimage to Badrinath Dham and Hemkund Sahib and returning after the pilgrimage are waiting for the highway to open. Due to rain, the pilgrims are waiting for the highway to open while sitting in their vehicles
