Ayodhya: PM Narendra Modi visited Ayodhya today. He hoisted the flag on the summit of the Ram Temple. Afterward, he stated that if India is to prosper by 2047, everyone must awaken the Ram within themselves. Ayodhya is becoming the focal point of the country’s elevated consciousness. Today, the entire world is filled with Ram. In the next 10 years, the country must be freed from the mentality of slavery.
The PM further stated that every Ram devotee has satisfaction, joy, and gratitude in their hearts. Centuries of pain are finally coming to an end. Centuries of resolve are finally achieving fulfillment. Today marks the final offering of a yagya whose fire has burned for 500 years. This yagya has not wavered in its faith even for a moment.
“This is the flag of civilizational renaissance”: PM Modi said that the infinite energy and divine glory of Lord Shri Ram’s sanctum sanctorum are enshrined in this Dharma flag. This Dharma flag is not just a flag, it is the flag of the renaissance of Indian civilization. Its saffron color, the fame of Suryavarsha etched on it, and the word Om enhance the glory of Ramrajya. This flag embodies resolve, success, and a centuries-old dream.
“This flag will proclaim the ideals of Ram”: The PM said that this flag is the meaningful culmination of the spiritual practices of saints and the participation of society. In the centuries to come, this flag will proclaim the ideals of Ram and Satyamev Jayate. This flag will proclaim that truth is the essence of Brahman. Religion is founded on truth. This Dharma flag will inspire, life may be lost but promises should not be broken. This Dharma flag will convey the message that the world has been created based on action. This Dharma Dhwaj will inspire us to build a society free of poverty, where no one is unhappy or helpless. The Dhwaj will provide a glimpse of Ram Lalla’s birthplace from afar: The PM said that our scriptures state that those who, for some reason, are unable to visit the temple, yet pay their respects to the temple’s flag from afar, receive the same merit. This Dharma Dhwaj will provide a glimpse of Ram Lalla’s birthplace from afar. It will spread the ideals of Lord Ram to all mankind for ages to come. I extend my best wishes to the millions of Ram devotees across the world.
I congratulate the devotees, philanthropists, artisans, workers, and architects involved in the construction of the Ram Temple. This is the land where ideals are transformed into conduct. This is the very land where Lord Ram began his life.
Collective power needed to build a developed India: PM Modi said that the collective power of society is needed to build a developed India. This courtyard of the Ram Temple symbolizes India’s collective consciousness. There is a temple of Mata Shabari here. It symbolizes the love of tribal society. Here is the temple of Nishadraj. It bears witness to a friendship that worships the end, not the means. Here are many saints, including Mata Ahalya, Maharishi Valmiki, and Tulsidas. Along with Ram Lalla, all these are visible here. Jatayu and the squirrel are also present. I would urge all countrymen to visit these seven temples as well. “Dalits, backward classes, and the most backward classes have been placed at the center of development”: The PM said that in the last 11 years, every section of society, including women, Dalits, backward classes, and the most backward classes, has been placed at the center of development. Every section of the country has to be made prosperous. By 2047, when the country celebrates 100 years of independence, we must build a developed India. We discussed the nation’s resolve with Ram. We must also think about future generations. This country existed even when we were not there, and it will remain so even when we are gone. We must work with a vision. The Prime Minister said that Ram represents the confluence of truth and valor. Ram represents a person who walks the path of righteousness. Ram represents the supreme priority of the well-being of the people. Ram represents the ocean of righteousness and forgiveness. Ram represents the culmination of knowledge and wisdom. Ram represents firmness in gentleness. Ram represents the highest example of gratitude. Ram represents the selection of noble company. Ram represents the immense strength in humility. Ram represents an unwavering resolve for truth. Ram represents an aware, disciplined, and sincere mind. Ram is not just a person, but a value and a direction. If we want to make India prosperous by 2047, we must awaken the inner Ram within us.
‘The Kovidar tree carries a powerful message’: The Prime Minister said that today presents a significant opportunity. The Kovidar tree, in this flag of righteousness, also carries a powerful message. This is not just the return of a tree; it is the renaissance of our identity. The Kovidar tree tells us that when we lose our identity, we lose everything. If we want to move the country forward, we must be proud of our heritage. We must completely free ourselves from the mentality of slavery. In 1835, an Englishman named Macaulay laid the foundation of mental slavery in India. 2035 marks the 200th anniversary of this. ‘India must be freed from the mentality of slavery’: The Prime Minister said that we must set a 10-year goal to free India from the mentality of slavery. What Macaulay envisioned had a profound impact. We gained independence, but that bias hasn’t disappeared. A bias has emerged: that foreign things are good, our own are not. India is the mother of democracy. Democracy is in our DNA. There is a village in the northern part of Tamil Nadu where a thousand-year-old stone inscription describes how governments were elected thousands of years ago. In our country, knowledge about many subjects has been limited.
The PM said that generations of Indians were deprived of this due to the mentality of slavery. Recall that the Indian Navy’s flag featured symbols that had no connection to our heritage. We have removed the symbol of slavery from the Navy’s flag. We have established the legacy of Shivaji Maharaj. Today, the same change is visible in Ayodhya. It is this mentality of slavery that has denied the essence of Ram for many years. From Rajaram of Orchha to Ram of Rameshwar, Ram is present in every home and every particle of India.
The mentality of slavery has become so dominant that Lord Ram is being declared imaginary. If we resolve to free India from mental slavery in 10 years, no one will be able to stop the dream of a developed India by 2047 from being realized. This will only happen when we destroy Macaulay’s policy of slavery.
Continuous work is underway for the betterment of Ayodhya: PM Modi said that Ayodhya of the Treta Yuga gave morality to humanity. 21st-century Ayodhya gave birth to the policy of a developed India. This Ayodhya will be a confluence of mythology and modernity. Today, Ayodhya boasts numerous facilities, including an airport and the Vande Bharat Mission. Work is ongoing to improve Ayodhya. Since the construction of the Ram Temple, 450 million devotees have visited. This has led to an increase in the income of Ayodhya and its surrounding areas.
The PM said that Ayodhya once lagged behind in development. Today, Ayodhya is a leader in Uttar Pradesh. India has become the fifth-largest economy in the world. We will soon reach the third position. The coming times are full of new possibilities. Lord Ram’s teachings will be our inspiration. The chariot needed to conquer Ravana requires courage and patience as its wheels. Strength, wisdom, and restraint are its horses. Forgiveness, kindness, and equality are the reins. These keep the chariot on the right path.
‘Faith has remained steadfast for the last 500 years’: CM Yogi said that today is a big opportunity. Over the past 500 years, empires have changed and generations have changed, but faith has remained unshaken. Faith remained steadfast. When the RSS took over, chants of Ram Lalla’s name began to resound. There was a time when Ayodhya had become a symbol of misery. Now, every day is a festival in Ayodhya. Ramrajya has been established in every direction. The city has entered a new era. Here, the path of Dharma, Ram Path, Bhakti Path, Panch Kosi, 14 Kosi, and 84 Kosi Parikramas bring happiness to devotees.
The Chief Minister said that Ayodhya now has an airport. Ayodhya is now emerging as the new economy of Uttar Pradesh. It is also the country’s first solar city. Today is a day of pride for us. I welcome PM Modi, Mohan Bhagwat, and the saints on this occasion.
