New Delhi/Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government is working to empower the youth and even the country’s foreign policy is being made keeping in mind the interests of the youth.
A pre-recorded message from Modi was run at the seventeenth job fair in which he said that India is the youngest nation in the world and its youth power is one of the greatest wealth.

Appointment letters of more than 51,000 government jobs were handed over at the job fair. “PM Modi said that more than 11 lakh recruitment letters have been issued so far through employment fairs across the country. The Prime Minister said, “”Empowering the youth is a priority of the BJP-led NDA government.”
PM Modi said that India has entered into investment partnerships with many European countries, which has created thousands of new employment opportunities. “””We have entered into several agreements with countries like Brazil, Singapore, South Korea and Canada to promote investment and support startups and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs),”” he said.” These cooperation will strengthen exports and open up new avenues of development and opportunity for India’s youth.

A bridge between service opportunities: Shobha Karandlaje In Bengaluru, Union Labour Minister Shobha Karandlaje said that the employment fair has become a bridge between the aspirations of the youth and public service opportunities. “””This initiative is not just about distributing appointment letters; it is about giving young Indians a sense of purpose and participation in nation building,”” he said.”
Thousands of people joined government services The new employees selected through this recruitment round will join several key ministries and public sector undertakings. These include the Departments of Posts, Railways, Home, Health and Family Welfare, Higher Education and Financial Services as well as major central public sector enterprises such as Power Grid Corporation of India, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Coal India, Gas Authority of India Limited and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation.
The appointments will cover various roles, including branch postmaster, station master, constable, nursing officer, engineer and probationary officer.
Digital education for new recruits All appointments will be given basic training through an online learning module, ‘Karmayogi Start’ under the iGOT Karmayogi portal. The platform offers more than 3,600 e-learning courses that can be accessed from any device. “Through digital learning, every new employee can start their public service journey with clarity and capacity,” Karandlaje said.
Creation of skilled workforce These people are expected to play a significant role in improving civic services, strengthening governance and contributing to the vision of a developed India, officials said. “Our goal is to create a workforce that coordinates skill and responsibility,”” Karandlaje added.” Every appointment under the job fair is a step towards inclusive and sustainable development.
