Any kind of illegal construction or plotting will not be tolerated in Dehradun – Banshidhar Tiwari

Mussoorie-Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) is continuously taking action to strictly stop uncontrolled and illegal construction activities in the urban area. In this episode, a comprehensive demolition and sealing campaign was carried out today. The purpose of this action taken in various areas of Dehradun and Rishikesh is to ensure planned development of the city and to give a clear message to illegal builders that ignoring the rules will no longer be acceptable at any level. Teams of Mussoorie-Dehradun Development Authority reached the spot to demolish and seal illegally constructed buildings at various places, taking action as per prior information and rules. The major actions were as follows: – In Rishikesh (Birbhadra Road, New Awas Vikas Colony), demolition action was taken on the multi-storey building illegally constructed by Dushyant Sethi in Hari Residency near Bharat Vihar. During this, Assistant Engineer Shashank Saxena, Rajendra Bahuguna, Shailendra Singh Rawat, Nishant Kukreti, Junior Engineer Manveer, Priyanka, Munesh Rana, Sachin Tomar, Jaideep Singh, Supervisor and Police Force. In Dehradun (Rupnagar Badripur), illegal plotting being done by Ashok Kukasal on about 05 bigha land was demolished. During this, Assistant Engineer Pramod Mehra, Junior Engineer Vikram Singh, Supervisor and Police Force. At the same time, action was taken against illegal commercial construction done by Bhushan Kumar in Chidarwala and the site was sealed. During this, Assistant Engineer Pramod Mehra, Junior Engineer Pravesh Nautiyal, Supervisor and Police Force. Illegal commercial construction done by Nazir Ahmed in Rishi Vihar, Dehradun was sealed as per the orders of Joint Secretary Shri Gaurav Chatwal. During this, Assistant Engineer Abhishek Bhardwaj, Junior Engineer Abhijeet Thalwal, Supervisor and others. *Strict action will be taken against those who violate the rules-Tiwari* MDDA Vice President Shri Banshidhar Tiwari said that this action taken by the Mussoorie-Dehradun Development Authority makes it clear that any kind of illegal construction or plotting will not be tolerated in the area.
