BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt said that the Congress party is engaging in shameful politics over an unverified viral video. The Congress, which was clamoring about a VIP’s involvement in the Ankita Bhandari murder case, backed down when asked to provide evidence. If the Congress were serious about the matter, they could have presented evidence in court.
Bhatt said that at the time, the DGP had made a public appeal asking anyone with information about the VIP to come forward. No one came forward then, and no one is coming forward now. By unnecessarily creating a conspiracy theory around Ankita, the Congress is also insulting the soul of that young girl.
He said that a complaint has been filed against the unverified viral video, alleging that it has been tampered with. The Congress is trying to use it as a political weapon. However, the past actions and political machinations of the woman whose audio has gone viral are no secret. He said that the Congress, which is making unverified allegations, should apologize.
President Bhatt said that it is due to the rigorous investigation that the accused have not yet been released on bail. Government lawyers were provided according to the wishes of Ankita’s family. All their demands were met. The Congress is not fulfilling its role as a responsible political party, instead engaging in political stunts. He said that the people whose statements and audio are being referred to by Congress leaders in the viral video are known for their daily statements, quarrels, and then compromises and changing their statements.
The Congress should tell us who the VIP is.
BJP President Mahendra Bhatt said that the Congress is trying to divert attention from its failures by raising the issue of a VIP before the elections. The Congress itself should reveal who the VIP is. The real culprit in Ankita’s case is the Congress. The public has blessed the BJP to fight for Ankita’s justice. The Congress needs to stop its politics of allegations and counter-allegations, using misinformation as a shield. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took suo motu cognizance of the matter. The accused were put behind bars within 24 hours
