Jodhpur: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that in 11 years, India has risen from the 11th largest economy in the world to the fourth. He expressed full confidence that it will become the third-largest economy in the next year. The only way to reach the top is through self-reliance. The key to this is “Swadeshi” (indigenous products). Addressing the Mahasabha of the Maheshwari community in Jodhpur on Saturday, Shah said that people should use indigenous products as much as possible. Shopkeepers should also sell indigenous goods as much as possible.
Adopt your mother tongue along with indigenous products: He said that another aspect of self-reliance is using indigenous products. He appealed to everyone to manufacture goods that are not currently produced in the country. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also addressed the program, expressing gratitude for the Maheshwari community’s contribution to the progress of the country and the state, and spoke of their continued contributions. The Home Minister said that we should learn all kinds of languages to progress in the world. This is necessary for progress, but we should not forget our mother tongue. Use your mother tongue with your children. Speak in Marwari and Rajasthani so that they remain connected to their culture and history. This is a community that holds both the sword and the scales (representing both strength and business acumen). The list of philanthropists is very long: The Home Minister said that the list of philanthropists from the Maheshwari community is very long. This is a community that has held onto its roots. This community has contributed whenever the country needed it. They are job creators, not job seekers. The importance of their contribution to cultural resurgence can be gauged from the fact that the first two brothers who sacrificed their lives in the Ram Mandir movement after independence were Maheshwaris.
