After a long gap, Uttarakhand Congress in-charge Kumari Selja arrived in Dehradun on Thursday to assess the political climate and organizational activities in the state. A meeting of the Political Affairs Committee will be held at the Congress headquarters with senior state leaders to discuss the formation of the state executive committee and the future organizational strategy.
State Congress President Ganesh Godiyal said that Uttarakhand Congress in-charge Kumari Selja will chair an important meeting of the Political Affairs Committee. The meeting will discuss the formation of the state Congress executive committee with party leaders. Besides this, the ongoing movement across the state demanding justice in the Ankita Bhandari murder case and other issues, including the alleged discontinuation of the MNREGA scheme, will also be discussed.
The meeting at the Congress headquarters will be attended by Leader of the Opposition Yashpal Arya, former Chief Minister Harish Rawat, State Congress Campaign Committee Chairman and MLA Pritam Singh, Congress Election Management Committee Chairman Harak Singh Rawat, along with other party MLAs and senior leaders
