Administration cracks down on illegal mining; 4 vehicles including JCB and Pokland seized; 7.20 lakh fine imposed

On the complaint of illegal mining at the under-construction site in Kuthalgate area of the district, the team of District Administration Police under the leadership of Sub-District Magistrate Mussoorie went to the spot and sealed the JCB, Pokland machine and 2 pickups transporting mining involved in illegal mining and parked them at Kuthalgate Police Station and JCB, Pokland machine were sealed on the spot and action of fine of Rs 7.20 lakh has been taken and cases have been registered against the concerned vehicle owners.
