Taking the frequent road accidents on the Moti Chur flyover seriously, an investigation team has been formed on the instructions of Dehradun District Magistrate Savin Bansal. The team will investigate the causes of the accidents and suggest safety measures to prevent future accidents. The investigation team includes SDM Rishikesh, Circle Officer (CO), ARTO, and officials from the National Highway Authority.
Circle Officer Neeraj Semwal stated that several accidents have occurred on the Moti Chur flyover in the past. Therefore, the actual causes of the accidents will be investigated and necessary safety measures will be recommended to prevent such incidents in the future.
It is worth noting that several vehicles caught fire in a fatal accident on the flyover last Sunday night. One woman was killed and approximately 15 people were injured. The administration says that based on the investigation report, necessary safety measures will be ensured on the flyover.
