The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) has taken action against a police constable for failing to start a vehicle on time during a fleet movement of the Chief Minister’s convoy. The SSP has suspended the constable driver.
According to reports, the Chief Minister’s convoy was scheduled to depart on Thursday. However, the driver was unable to start the vehicle on time. Following this incident, the SSP immediately suspended Constable Deepak Saini.
Additionally, the maintenance logs of all vehicles assigned to the VIP convoy were checked. While the maintenance records (logbooks) showed that all vehicles were properly maintained, a detailed investigation has been ordered and assigned to the Circle Officer (Traffic) to determine why the vehicle failed to start.
