Following the directives of the Honorable Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, a review meeting of health services, facilities, and programs was convened on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the District Hospital Dehradun, under the chairmanship of Chief Medical Officer Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma. The meeting was attended by Principal Medical Superintendent Dr. Manu Jain, Senior Medical Officer Dr. Narendra Tyagi, senior doctors, specialist doctors, heads of all departments, nursing in-charges, Chief Administrative Officer, Public Relations Officer, and other staff members.
During the meeting, the Chief Medical Officer instructed that the availability of doctors and staff should be ensured 24 hours a day according to the duty roster. Special attention should be paid to cleanliness in the hospital premises, waiting areas, and wards. Heaters and hot water facilities should be provided in the wards, along with clean bed sheets and blankets. Attention should also be given to the quality of food provided to patients. On this occasion, Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma also reviewed emergency medical services, as well as OPD and IPD services.
