The Uttarakhand State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) is receiving international recognition for its outstanding work. The US Embassy honored the SDRF with a memento and a certificate of appreciation for the work being carried out under the able leadership of Commandant Arpan Yaduvanshi.
Effective rescue operations are being conducted in challenging and high-altitude Himalayan regions such as Mount Chaukhamba in Chamoli district, where two foreign women trekkers were stranded, and Vasudhara near Badrinath, where a foreign trekker was trapped, as well as in Gangotri.
The memento and certificate of appreciation were received by SDRF Commandant Arpan Yaduvanshi. This achievement will provide new energy to the morale of SDRF personnel in the future and inspire them to perform even more outstanding work in the field of disaster management.
