A pickup vehicle loaded with apples crashed into the Yamuna river near Suman Kyari in Nainbag area of Jaunpur block of Tehri district in Uttarakhand. Four people in the vehicle were badly injured in the accident. The injured have been admitted to Nainbag Primary Health Center for treatment. Seeing the critical condition of one person, doctors have referred him to the higher center Vikasnagar.
Kampti SHO Mahipal Singh Rawat said that the accident happened around six in the morning. The pickup vehicle carrying apples was going from Mori area of Uttrakashi district to Vikasnagar. The vehicle crashed near Suman Kyari and fell straight into the Yamuna river. There were four people in the vehicle, they have been rescued and admitted to the hospital for treatment.
