A tragic incident took place in village Banani Gram Sabha Manjholi Patti Dhaijhuli of Pauri Garhwal. Here a person fell from a cliff into a stream. On receiving the information, police and disaster relief and rescue equipment reached the spot.
With the help of local people, the police team took the person out of the stream, but by then he had died. The deceased was identified as Devendra Lal (44 years), son of Panu Lal, resident of village Kandara, Vikaskhand Augustmuni, a teacher appointed in Government Primary School Banani.
The family members of the deceased and the Principal of the school were informed about the incident. The police have started the process of filling the Panchnama. There is a wave of mourning in the area due to this accident
