A meeting will be held tomorrow at the government office regarding various demands and issues of employees. The State Employees Joint Council will raise the employees’ demands, and secretaries from various departments will also participate. Council President Arun Pandey and General Secretary Shakti Prasad Bhatt stated that this meeting will be held at the Secretariat on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Personnel Secretary Shailesh Bagauli.
The Council is committed to resolving various pending employee issues. The Council is continuously raising issues related to employee interests with the administration and the government, striving to resolve them. In this regard, the demand for a Diwali bonus and an increased dearness allowance at central government rates for state employees is also being continuously raised.
Finance Secretary Dilip Jawalkar was also informed of the problems faced by state employees under the Golden Card. He was informed that private hospitals were refusing to admit patients in some cases, while others were refusing to accept the Golden Card. Last Saturday, in another incident, a state employee was refused treatment by hospitals registered under the Golden Card. He was constantly referred from one hospital to another.
