A container parked on the roadside in the Kangri area near the Haridwar Shyampur-Najibabad highway suddenly caught fire, causing panic. Fortunately, the driver and operator jumped out in time, otherwise a major accident could have occurred.
According to reports, the container driver had parked the vehicle on the roadside for some work. Meanwhile, the container came into contact with a high-tension line passing overhead. A loud explosion erupted, sparks flew, and the container caught fire within no time. As soon as the fire broke out, people from nearby areas gathered at the scene, but the flames were so intense that no one could get close.
Upon receiving the information, Shyampur police and a fire brigade team arrived at the scene. Firefighters managed to control the fire, but by then, the old furniture in the container had been completely reduced to ashes. Station House Officer Manoj Sharma stated that no one was injured in the accident. The incident is currently under investigation
