Ayodhya: Since the installation of Ram Lalla in the temple at Ram Janmabhoomi and Raja Ram with Mata Sita on the first floor, devotees have been arriving to offer gifts. On Saturday, a group of 52 people from the Valmiki community traveled from Delhi to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Trust welcomes with sandalwood and flowers: The trust welcomed the devotees from the Valmiki community going for darshan at the Ram Temple with sandalwood and flowers. The devotees offered prayers at the Ram Temple and presented a gold nose ring for Mata Janaki, five silver crowns for Lord Ram, Lakshman, Hanuman, and Maharishi Valmiki, two silver canopies for Lord Shri Ram and Valmiki, a silver mace for Hanuman, and a silver Ramayana and pen for Valmiki to the temple administration.
Valmiki community is an integral part of Sanatan Dharma: Vishva Hindu Parishad’s working president Alok Kumar was also present with the group. Sharad Sagwani, the head of the Valmiki Sarpanch Samaj in Delhi, said that a group of 52 people from the Valmiki community has arrived in Ayodhya to have darshan of Ram Lalla and Guru Maharishi Valmiki. The Valmiki community is an invaluable part of Sanatan Dharma.
Attempt to convey a message of religious harmony: Sarpanch Sharad Sagwani said that through this journey, an attempt is being made to send a message to society that there is no caste system in Sanatan Dharma. Everyone is one. All communities are one. They have brought clothes and ornaments for Lord Ram, Mata Janaki, and other deities.
Valmiki introduced the world to Lord Ram: Vishva Hindu Parishad’s working president Alok Kumar said that people from the Valmiki community living in Delhi have come to have darshan of Ram Lalla. They have all collectively come to have darshan of Ram Lalla, Raja Ram, Hanuman, and Valmiki.
He said that it was Valmiki who introduced the world to Lord Shri Ram. While explaining a couplet, he said, “The guru and God both stand before me; whose feet should I touch first? I am indebted to my guru, who has shown me God.”
