The march, which began in Chaukhutia to strengthen health services, reached Dehradun. They set out for the Rural Secretariat, but were stopped by police. The protesting delegation then met with the Chief Minister.
The delegation expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for prioritizing the improvement of health facilities in the Chaukhutia area and for promptly issuing a government order to upgrade the local hospital. Under this order, the capacity of the Chaukhutia hospital has been increased from 30 to 50 beds, and various essential health facilities will be strengthened in a phased manner.
