A delegation of office bearers from the UPNAL Employees Federation met with Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi at his camp office today.
The delegation apprised Minister Joshi of their demands, which included the issuance of a government order (GO) for minimum wage and dearness allowance, equal pay for equal work, and a resolution to the “no work, no pay” issue for UPNAL employees who have completed 12 years or more of continuous service in departments/institutions under the state government.
Minister Ganesh Joshi gave the delegation a positive assurance and promised prompt action. He stated that his government is sensitive to the interests of UPNAL employees and is making every possible effort for their welfare.
Present on the occasion were the State President of the UPNAL Employees Federation, Vinod Godiyal, General Secretary Vinay Prasad, and other office bearers.
