The strict action of Mussoorie-Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) against encroachment on government land, illegal construction and plotting without getting the map approved is continuing in Uttarakhand. In this sequence, on Wednesday, the MDDA team demolished the illegal plotting being done by Rashid on about 10 bigha land in Hinduwala area located on Shimla bypass. During the action, Assistant Engineer Abhishek Bhardwaj, Junior Engineer Nitesh Rana and Siddharth Semwal, supervisor and police force were present on the spot.
Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari said that any kind of illegal construction or illegal plotting will not be tolerated at all under the Mussoorie-Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) area. The demolition proceedings on construction works being done against the rules will continue without any pressure and influence.
MDDA has appealed to the general public to get the map approved as per the rules before any kind of construction work, otherwise strict action will be taken against illegal construction and plotting.
