Any construction or plotting taking place without approval in MDDA area will not be tolerated – Banshidhar Tiwari

Continuous action is being taken against illegal plotting by Mussoorie-Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA). Vice President Shri Banshidhar Tiwari said that any construction or plotting without approval in the authority area will not be tolerated. Strict action was taken in this direction on Tuesday. The team of Mussoorie-Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) demolished two big illegal plottings going on in Simla Bypass and Selaqui area. In the first action, illegal plotting being done by Naveen Gupta in about 15 bighas of land at Mauja Serpur, Simla Bypass was demolished. In the second action, illegal plotting done by Rinku Chaudhary on about 10 bighas of land near Indian Public School, Raja Road, Selaqui was demolished. MDDA Vice President Shri Banshidhar Tiwari said that illegal plotting is not only a violation of the law, but it also causes serious problems to the general public in the future. The aim of the authority is to promote planned development and provide safe and well-organized residential environment to the common citizens. In this action, Assistant Engineer Abhishek Bhardwaj, Junior Engineer Nitesh Rana, Siddharth Semwal, Supervisor and police force were present on the spot. Officials said that the authority is constantly monitoring and strict action will continue on such illegal activities in future as well. MDDA has appealed to the general public that before purchasing any type of land, it is necessary to confirm its legal status and approval from the authority.
