Uttarakhand Monsoon Session: The House ran for one hour and 45 minutes on the first day, proceedings were adjourned eight times

On the first day of the monsoon session in the Bhararisain Vidhan Sabha located in the summer capital Gairsain, the proceedings of the House had to be adjourned eight times due to the uproar by the opposition. The House ran for only one hour and 45 minutes. From the beginning of the session till 4 pm, the Congress MLAs kept raising slogans in the well. Amidst the noise, the government introduced nine bills in the House. After the supplementary budget was presented in the House, the Speaker of the Assembly adjourned the proceedings of the House till 11 am on Wednesday. Despite this, the MLAs of the opposition remained sitting in the well. As soon as the proceedings of the House began, the Congress MLAs started creating a ruckus. Speaker of the Assembly Ritu Khanduri Bhushan also kept requesting the MLAs to sit in their seats. But the opposition did not listen to a single word. The Speaker of the Assembly kept adjourning the proceedings of the House for 10-10 minutes.
