Dehradun: The 79th Independence Day celebrations are being celebrated with great enthusiasm in Uttarakhand today. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami hoisted the flag at the ceremony held in Dehradun. On this occasion, CM Dhami congratulated the people of the state on Independence Day.
It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami hoisted the flag on the occasion of Independence Day and wished the people of the state. On this occasion, CM Dhami paid tribute to the martyrs and freedom fighters, martyred state agitators. Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Retd) also extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all the people of the state and the country on the 79th Independence Day. The Governor congratulated the Independence Day on social media X and wrote that on this historic occasion, humble tribute to all those immortal martyrs and brave freedom fighters who sacrificed their all for the freedom, unity and integrity of the motherland.
Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan hoisted the flag at a program organized at the Secretariat on the auspicious occasion of 79th Independence Day. The Chief Secretary, Secretary, Additional Secretary, officers and employees of the Secretariat Administration and children present in the program wished the National Festival. The Chief Secretary saluted the known and unknown freedom fighters who dedicated their lives for the independence of the country and said that this country is indebted to them. He said that this day gives us an opportunity to remember the sacrifice, courage and dedication of those countless freedom fighters who gave us the precious gift of independence.
