Harak Singh Rawat had challenged the order of ED (Enforcement Directorate) to confiscate his property. In the last hearing, Uttarakhand High Court had stayed the order of ED while giving relief to Harak Singh Rawat. At the same time, in the hearing on Friday, August 1, Uttarakhand High Court extended the old stay and gave the next hearing on the matter on August 21. That is, the next hearing will be stayed on the order of ED till August 21.
Till then, the court has ordered Harak Singh Rawat to submit his reply on the affidavit presented by the opposition. Let us tell you that ED has alleged that Congress leader Harak Singh Rawat’s wife Deepti Rawat has bought valuable land in a residential area in Dehradun at a nominal price as part of a conspiracy, which is currently worth crores of rupees.
Apart from this, ED had alleged that Harak Singh Rawat has committed a huge scam in the National Parks while being a minister. Along with this, ED has also accused Harak Singh Rawat of many other scams. In fact, the Uttarakhand High Court had heard a provisional attachment order issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) against 101 bighas of land worth more than Rs 70 crore of Smt. Poorna Devi Memorial Trust, which the court had already stayed. This case is Doon Institute of Medical Sciences Smt. Poorna Devi Memorial Trust vs. State of Uttarakhand.
According to ED, the trust is controlled by Harak Singh Rawat’s family and other friends, who are Congress leaders. Harak Singh Rawat was earlier a minister in the BJP government. During Friday’s hearing, the court extended the stay on the previous order and asked Rawat to submit his counter reply before the next date.

In this case, Harak Singh Rawat got relief from the Uttarakhand High Court. The court has currently put a stay on the ED’s charge sheet. Harak Singh Rawat’s lawyer Himanshu Pal has confirmed this. He said that a few days ago, the legal process on the Sahaspur land case was challenged in the High Court, on which the Nainital High Court has now put a stay.
