Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi today morning reached 10B residence near post office in New Cantt Road, Hathibarkala area and inspected the fire incident in Poonam Devi’s house. The minister took information about the incident spot from the local people present on the spot and inquired about the cause of the fire.
Local people were told that late last night due to short circuit, a sudden fire broke out in Poonam Devi’s house, due to which the goods kept in the house were burnt and destroyed. Fortunately, there was no loss of life in this incident. Poonam Devi has gone to visit Khatu Shyam temple in Rajasthan with her children.
The Cabinet Minister assured all possible help to the affected family and appealed to expedite the relief process and take necessary precautions to avoid such incidents in future.
During this time, many people including local councilor Bhupendra Kathait, Mohan Bahuguna, Ramesh Pradhan were present.
