Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has ordered the Kumaon Commissioner to investigate the death of a one-and-a-half-year-old child in Bageshwar. Said, strict action will be taken if negligence is found in the investigation.
The CM said, the case of death of a child due to negligence in medical facility in Bageshwar is unfortunate and painful. In the information received so far, prima facie it appears that officers and employees at some level have been negligent in discharging their duties.
Taking cognizance of this sensitive matter, orders were given to the Kumaon Commissioner to investigate immediately. If negligence or indifference is found at any level in this case, then strict action will be ensured against the culprits. No laxity will be tolerated in protecting the trust and life of the public
